Wivelsfield Films employ a professional company, Cine Mobile Ltd, to provide screenings of current high profile films on the big screen with superb audio equipment. Enjoy a great cinema experience on your doorstep (ample free parking) with homemade cakes, ice creams, and drinks available from the licensed bar 30 minutes before the film and during the interval.

All the organisation of Wivelsfield Films – publicity, ticket sales, setting up and attending on the night, cake making and accounting etc. – is carried out by a small team of volunteers. Our aim is not to make a profit, but for our revenue to cover our costs, and at the same time to provide a cinema experience for those who are unable or unwilling to travel into a regular cinema in town in order to watch a film. Any surplus we might make will be put back into the village in some way, as recently for example in making a contribution to the village hall refurbishment. Wivelsfield Films will continue to offer the community new releases throughout 2023.  Doors open for pre-film drinks and cakes at 7:00pm.  The Film starts 7:30pm.  The 2023 dates are all Sundays – see FUTURE DATES.

Tickets are £7.00 and on sale in person from the Post Office & Village Stores, North Common Road, Wivelsfield Green or online from BOOK TICKETS. So please watch for the posters on the village green, outside the shop or online on Facebook pages : Wivelsfield Films or Wivelsfield Life to see what we are showing each month and come along to enjoy a convivial evening watching a good film. Buying tickets in advance helps us to bake enough cakes to match ticket numbers!

The Hall is now refurbished and fully accessible. Wheelchairs are very welcome but to ensure that we can provide the best possible view please contact John Wigzell on 01444 471216 in advance.
